- Open the Windows 10/8 Control Panel (either from a desktop icon or by typing “Control Panel” in the search box.
- Click on Network and Internet option among the listed items in Control Panel.
- Click on Network and Sharing Center option.
- In that screen which opens, click on the Change adapter settings link, located in the left panel of the screen.
- Now, a new ‘Network Connections’ window where all your internet connections listed will open up.
- Just right-click on the active connection and choose Properties.
- In the Properties window that opened up, under ‘This connection uses the following items:’ option, scroll down and click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) to select it.

If you are using a Dial-up Connection
- Go to My Computer > Dialup Networking
- Right-click your internet connection and select Properties.

- Now, click on TCP/IP Settings.

- Go to Control Panel.
- Click on Network Connections.
- Select your local network and click Properties.

How to change DNS server on Mac?
